Our Story

Specialty Design Co. is owned by Amber Austin Norris, a Meredith College graduate born and raised in the community she now serves. Amber first opened SDC's doors in 2014, after running her business from home for many years, eventually moving to it's current spot in downtown Roxboro - a dream realized after spending so many childhood days shopping the square with her mother & grandmother. Amber has found success in offering apparel, jewelry, gifts, and customizable specialty items mixed with sweet southern charm. Wife and mom of 4, Amber is proud to serve Roxboro and her online customers.
